Hi, my name is Abrar Syed. I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of California, Davis, with an expected graduation date of December 2024. My academic background is complemented by a rich portfolio of projects, including a budget-conscious travel recommendation system, an environmental justice mapping application, and a blockchain-based solution for crowdfunding. Collaborated with a team of 3 members under my advisor Dr. Priyanka on the "Reversible Data Hiding Scheme" project for enhancing medical image security and integrity in the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT).

Conducted a literature review of 7+ papers identifying challenges in existing techniques that led to the proposal of an innovative RDH scheme.

Played a vital role in developing the model using MATLAB, achieving an average imperceptibility of 37dB for various test medical images and an accuracy of ~ 99% in recovering the images upon tampering.
